When you date someone for a long time, you apparently lose your “spark” and end up never touching each other or exchanging sweet words. Ever.
At first, you may think that the other person is distracted. You try and go about ‘business’ like usual, but they let you know that affection is no longer okay by snubbing you constantly and making up excuses to alienate you.
After that, you get needy. You try to drop hints or outright wine.
And when that doesn’t work, you get weepy and depressed. What did I do wrong? How can I fix it? If I show you my boobs, will you just touch my shoulder for a second?
After so long, you learn to stop expecting anything and you adjust to being a “bud”. Since romance is no longer an option, you get way too comfortable. You find other hobbies, such as eating. And you start acting like a big idiot because there’s really no reason not to. So, you’re just a fat, lonely retard who hates everything.
